Rainy days and throwback to times spent saving ladybugs from drowning @_ponysa_ ‘s pool.
My face when I realize tomorrow is hump day.
Give me one good reason to love Wednesdays.
(P.s. I think we should switch to “wine Wednesday” because, you know, mood).
(P.p.s. Also I just got the second dose of my #covidvaccine today so tomorrow is going to be an extra hard hump day).
(P.p.p.s. Can anyone recommend something that ACTUALLY WORKS for under eye circles? I’ve tried everything).
You know that movie you used to watch every single summer as a kid? Mine was The Last of the Mohicans.
I haven’t watched it in ages and don’t actually remember much about the story, but I do remember it was my first ever soundtrack love. 🖤🎵🎹

Random #TBR shot from my radiator-turned-bookshelf.
Some of these are new and others are old favorite reads which I definitely need to reread. And some I just hang on to for no apparent reason.
And actually most of these will be delayed even further since my main reading goal now is to read all of the #hugoaward nominees for best novel before the winner is announced in December!
What’s on your TBR?
In Dreams (Part 2) - The Lord of the Rings.
I *think* I’ve mentioned it but it’s my favorite everything (book, movie, soundtack, whatever).
When you’re feeling down just think that the Earth is 4.54 billion years old and you were lucky enough to be born in that tiny amount of time after Lord of the Rings was written.
Video shot with my new and very awesome #nikonz50.
🥂 Cheers to one of the most exhausting, anxiety inducing and mentally draining weeks of my life being finally over.
The candle is a metaphor of how I’m feeling right now: burnt out, done (and also a bit grimy from the smog of the city and too many hours in the office 😝).
A small reminder that Friday always comes!
Happy start to the weekend! (I sincerely hope your week was better than mine but, if it wasn’t, feel free to vent.)

In Dreams - The Lord of the Rings
One of my favorite soundtracks, stories, movies, works or art, whatever. 🖤
This piece of music isn’t particularly complex to play but it was so satisfying to film. Full video on my YouTube channel, shot with #nikonz50.
Am I the only one obsessed with soundtrack music?
📚 Favorite books of all time, forever and ever.
🍿🎥Also, favorite movie of all time, forever and ever.
🎵Also, favorite soundtrack of all time, forever and ever (piano cover of “In Dreams” out tomorrow).
Honestly, I don’t get excited about much (read: basically nothing lately cause hey, apathy is fun), but just mention The Lord of The Rings and I turn into a crazy fangirl (@harpercollins edition in the photo).
What are your favorites?
The spleen of getting older.
Same spleen that causes me to disappear off the face of the Earth once in a while.
**SATISFIED SMIRK** because I have a Bandcamp page now!
Just goes to show that you can’t procrastinate forever, your to-do list WILL eventually catch up with you, even if you do your best to avoid it.
Seriously though, I’m super excited and you can find the link in my Linktree 🌳(link in bio!)
Cheers to being productive and see you on Bandcamp! 🥂

We’re All Messed Up is out today, on all digital platforms!
Let me know what you think and thank you for listening 🎧
I’m in love with this cover art , thank you @iuso_photo for helping make a totally random idea into reality.
Every song has its own story; some are solitary late night endeavors, quick to write and to record, and others take much longer to come full circle. Like We’re All Messed Up.
I’m lucky who have friends who care about what I do musically speaking; friends who even consider me relatively good at what I do. And apparently friends who care enough to gift me one of their beats.
And what do I do?
I forget about it. For two years.
Cue feeling like a #terriblefriend (hey we’ve all been there, sorry guys 😕).
Anyway, fast forward to April 2020 and the global pandemic...while I’m writing my album I remember I have this beat just sitting there, unused, unopened, like the perfect Christmas gift in April. 🎁
So naturally, I cut it up (again, sorry guys), rearrange it, changing it from the hip hop beat it was supposed to be into something else and...We’re All Messed Up is just 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦. It starts to take shape among the unfamiliar beat and gothic melody and I can see it peeking through, messed up just like the rest of us and everything else on this planet. I even manage to slip in a Bach reference at the end of the track (can you catch it?) with the help of @astolfo_iuso.
Anyway, point being, this song would never have existed it it weren’t for these two amazing people, so I owe it completely to them. Thank you to everyone that has listened to the demo, in all its pre-mix glory, and that will listen to the song which comes out in a few hours. I’m not very good at expressing feelings (𝘖𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘺!) but it really means the world.
Cheers to new music! 🖤🥂

10. “The ups and the downs
Just walking around
In circles, in circles
But making no sound
‘Cause people don’t listen
It’s just wishful thinking
So pick yourself up
You’re messed up...but amazing” 🎶
We’re all messed up out TOMORROW, presave link in bio 🖤
9. 🎧 “So tell me, what’s your story?
‘Cause everyone’s got a tragedy...” 💔
We’re all messed up out April 16th, presave link in bio. In the meantime, #tellmeyourstory 🥀
Posting lyrics in random bits and bobs sure has been fun.
